respond quickly. This means we will answer mails, phone messages straight
away so we don’t keep you waiting. It means we will get our thinking
clear about what we think will help you ... so we are as quick off the
blocks as you need us to be.
Meeting Together
Helping people make decisions which work for them and work for the common
good, involves helping people meet together – with purpose, pleasure
and practical respect.
Meeting together in two, threes, fours and more, is a fundamental part of our lives as human beings and is an expression of our desire to be in genuine community.
It could be so easy. Often it isn’t. That’s why we wrote a book about it.
Listening and finding common ground
We often find ourselves in situations where there are apparently divergent
views. We will listen carefully and well and will work to find common
ground to find what people share rather than what separates them. It
comes naturally to us to get alongside people and work together as
respectful equals.
Planning ahead and being flexible at the
same time
Whilst it is sensible to agree key milestones and stages at the beginning
of a project we are flexible to respond to what emerges as the process
unfolds. So we will be flexible and, if we need to and with your agreement,
will change tack in the light of changing circumstances.
