Red Cross Reception Centre for Kosovan
refugees
With a few days left before the first plane carrying Kosovan refugees
was due to land (in May 1999), Martin Farrell was
engaged by the British
Red Cross as emergency start up manager for a reception centre in
Leicester. A very full 72 hours later, the first phase of setting up
the centre was complete and Martin handed over to another manager for
the next phase![]()
