Greenhouse had become part of Spurgeons Child Care shortly before Raya
Tibawi and Martin Farrell started a Review
in early 2007. A child care project currently running four weekly groups,
Greenhouse has a proud history over 50 years as an independent local
Christian based youthwork voluntary organisation.
To understand the present, they started by exploring the past. Unusually, if not uniquely, the (still enthusiastically committed) project manager had a forty year connection with the Greenhouse.
Welcoming the Report, Spurgeons engaged Raya for a couple more days
to help project staff start making the recommended changes to help the
Greenhouse pass on its special model to others and to become sustainable
beyond its current funding
