Emily Beardsmore
Emily Beardsmore is the Chair of a national youth charity and an advocate of young trusteeship. At 23 she very much lives what she endorses, and has sat as a board member and company director on several other organisations.

A passionate campaigner for gender equality and the rights of the developing world, Emily has been a member in Girl Guiding UK for many years and is currently studying at University in London. Her passion for gender equality extends to a international level and she has travelled broadly striving for a deeper understanding of global issues.

Emily’s passion for youth and student activism is shown through the year she spent as a vice president in her student union. Where she developed a governance review, devised a training programme to give students key skills, supported student activists and helped to develop the universities teaching and learning strategy.

Emily has trained and facilitated groups on a range of topics and recently coordinated a major training programme for young representatives, trustees and activists.
